Scope of Our Work

The mission of Hind Life and Education Trust, Patna (India) is to ensure that kids growing up in poverty get an excellent primary education and vocational training.

To set up educational facilities in India including universities, colleges and media academies, particularly in the eastern Indian state of Bihar.

To arrange and provide financial assistance and scholarships to poor meritorious students enrolled in different streams in India and abroad.

To prevent and cure diseases as well as to set up health facilities with an aim to improve the lives of all people in Bihar in particular and in India in general.

To fight for the survival and development of the India’s most vulnerable children and protects their basic human rights, especially children belonging to the minority segment of Indian society.

To inspire breakthroughs in the way the Indian society treats children and students, and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

Exert efforts to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

To provide medical aid to those most in need regardless of their race, religion, or political affiliation.

To feed India’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger and stop hunger deaths.

To inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education and research.

To enable volunteers to advance understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

To enhance quality of life for all as we age, and to set up training and vocational training institutions to empower youth of the country.

To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of education and learning.

To work in partnership with different global and national agencies including NGOs to eradicate poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, and harmful malpractices.

To institute awards and commendations to be given to outstanding individuals and institutions working in different sectors of Indian society.

To work for the eradication of polio and HIV/AIDS as well as deaddiction of tobacco, drugs and other intoxicants.

To create content that educates, informs and inspires; and to set up media, television and film schools for training young boys and girls in the eastern region of India mainly.

To create lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and social injustice, besides holding inter-faith dialogues to promote communal harmony and cohesion in Indian society.

To inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen communities by providing training to trainers, religious leaders and teachers/planners of adult education in India.

To conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends; and to promote conservation of nature.
