Fundraising is an activity that has been carried out for a long time in nonprofit organizations (NFP), which eventually gives them strength and resources to work. Now there are several new ways to increase public interest in fundraising for NGOs and we will encourage you to do them for the Hind Life and Education Trust, Patna (India).
Establish commemorative donations
Asking donors to include your organization in their wills or their CSR program can help ensure that donors continue to make an impact even after they have passed away. Companies can make donations from their CSR budget to support a particular project of the HLET.
Organizing social and cultural events
We request donors and society leaders to organize charity events, social and cultural functions or entertainment events for raising funds for the Trust. We urge individuals and organizations to organize such charity events, which can help to generate funds for the HLET.
Involve affected parties
Identifying the people who would benefit most from the work that the organization is doing and then drawing their attention to how it is affecting them personally can involve them as supporters and donors. This is one of the aims of the Trust.
We make it specific
People donate to causes that speak of feelings, thoughts or experiences they have had. Identifying what matters most to donors and then bringing them together at that level can not only increase commitment to the cause but also stimulate people to donate.
Promote the collection of social funds
Social networks provide nonprofit organizations with a way to engage donors in a collaborative and transparent environment. Fundraisers can initiate real conversations with donors, identifying what is important to them. The organization can then show potential donors exactly how their funds will advance its goals.
Improve crowdfunding efforts
Crowdfunding is becoming an increasingly important aspect of nonprofit fundraising, but it works best when it comes to a specific project rather than general donations. People want to feel that they are making a real difference and not just throw money into a black hole. The use of videos to tell your story is usually more effective and shareable than text descriptions. To this end, it is important to note that the Trust has already launched two major projects—one for building a 300-bed hospital in Bihar and another for building a world-class Film, TV and Media Academy.
Search for national and international agencies
Local or international agencies can contact the Trust for making available their funds and resources for implementing some projects for the upliftment of the weaker sections of society. These agencies can directly contact us. We also trying to build a network of such local and international agencies, who can be contacted to execute projects in education, health and media sectors.
